This was a lovely family photoshoot in Sunny Tunbridge Wells. I had fun with these guys and I think it shows.
It’s my normal advice that any newborn shoot should only take place in the first ten days. After this time it’s much more unlikely that we’ll get some posed sleeping shots. However with larger families sometimes it’s less about the posed shots and more about some real life. I explained my thinking to the client and they decided they would rather go for an inbetween stage of about 5 weeks because of work commitments. As it happened newborn baby “R” was a superstar – we didn’t push for any sleeping shots but had a few calm shots, and some family of five shots.
Everyone and everything was nice and chilled – which is something I vaguely aspire to in life as well as in my work, sometimes it comes off in shoots – sometimes less so!!
I really like the vibe of these shots, generally this is something that is hard to fake – I think we all worked well together.
