I’m a pretty smiley kinda person, and I have to say I do like a happy looking portrait. I LOVE these images of this lovely family in Alresford, Winchester – they are soooo smiley and happy. The whole shoot was a lot of fun. Obviously the weather has been fairly rubbish recently, but we still managed to get outside – I hope I’ll be invited back some time as their garden was just amazing.

I really love it when I revisit a family – it’s lovely to see how everyone has changed. For this lovely family in Croydon we had discussed maybe having some baby photos taken inside and some outside, I’d thought we’d muck about with some daffodils. The weather had been really nice, but sadly on the day of our shoot the weather was really too cold and wet to head outside. It’s a shame but the silver lining is that generally the light is much better for my sort of photography if it’s not a bright sunny day. I’m really pleased with these shots.
It was nice catching up again with Sarah and Andrew and it’s always really humbling to see pictures from a previous newborn shoot – these guys had 5 or 6 up and around the house.
