It’s one of the great things about being able to get out and about, I know quite know what the location’s going to be like and what the weather (and more importantly the light) will be like. This was a great shoot in Sevenoaks. I took pictures of Mackenzie and her mum when she was a newborn, about 7 days old, so it was lovely to catchup with them again.
We’d talked beforehand and there was a lovely wild flower meadow just round the corner from their home. I turned up and we headed out – turning the corner and … the grass had been mowed and all the wild flowers were gone. Oh.
But you know, it’s great for me to have to roll with things, it keeps me on my toes and it’s a challenge I like. We had a bit of a wander and the light really changed dramatically in the shoot – meaning that where we could go and shoot kept changing – all part of the fun in being a location baby photographer!
