I do like parks – although I tend to like shooting in ones that have a bit of variety in them – I’m often looking for shaded areas as I’m often shooting when the sun is quite strong. This family (toddler) photoshoot was in Greenwich Park – a great place, although it’s so big it can be a bit of a headscratcher for me to decide where to head.
Anyway this family photography photoshoot was a lot of fun – the star of the show was “one of those boys who doesn’t like to be held” – this is quite common with toddler boys. All toddler shoots are a bit like herding sheep anyway. This little guy just had a total blast chasing the pigeons.
This first image is one of my favourites from the shoot – it came about by me suggesting perhaps these guys could hop a fence and have a play the other side of the fence. This was one of the hundred of so decisions that I make on a shoot – this one panned out, the “danger”, “excitement” coupled with the environment and the light on this forbidden patch all came together to make a pretty shot.
I love these chasing pigeon ones.
And we also managed to take a few shots back at home.
